Like many at home moms, I found myself with more free time as my children became teenagers. I wanted to be there for them after school.  I also wanted to go back to the workforce.  It was not like I could go back to my computer job.  It had been sixteen years. My technical skills were just a little out of date.  I also, didn’t think a new job would work around my children’s school schedule.  After a great deal of thought I came up with making my own job.  in June 2014 Cindy’s Natural and Homemade Products created.  At first, I was just selling my products at local craft fairs.  Now I also run an online shop.

I focus on two product lines: candles and skincare.   As a hobby I stared making candles.  I was just a teenager then.  I like creating with new designs.  I got into making skin care products out of need.  I had a child that screamed bloody murder at me. I used Destin on my baby’s backside.  I thought at first, he was allergic to it.  It worked for my other children.  It wasn’t the only product that caused problems.  I learned quickly that not all unscented products are fragrance free.  Since I make everything myself, I can ensure quality and help my customers find what is best for them.
