Bastille soap

Description

Bastille soap is a harder bar of soap than castile soap. I made this soap with coconut oil and olive oil. This combination of oil gives the soap a nice silky feel with a rich lather. Additionally, I colored this soap with the clay. Also, with two types of clay gives the lather has a lush feel. I added some poppy seeds for some scrubbing power. I used Abercrombie & Fitch fierce fragrance oil to scent this soap.

You can see from the pictures; each soap bar is not the same. I hand cut each bar, so some bars are a little bit wider or thinker than another bar. I sell my soap by weight. If you buy a 3-ounce bar you may receive a bar heavier than a 3-ounce bar. You won’t receive a lighter soap. These soaps have been cured for several months so they are not going to shrink or lose weight.

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, Rhassoul clay, bentonite clay, annatto, alkanet, poppy seeds, Abercrombie & fitch fierce fragrance oil, and white glitter.
