Tropical Waters Soap

Tropical waters soap is a new soap recipe. I In this recipe, I used more corn oil. Research claims corn oil to be a good moisturizer when used in soap. I’m always trying to make a perfect bar of soap. Research can only get you so far. You really need work with an oil to see how the soap turns out. I thought I’d try it out myself. Coconut oil makes a hard bar with nice lather. I added some poppy seeds for some scrubbing power. I used Tropical waters fragrance oil to scent this soap.

You can see from the pictures; each soap bar is not the same. I hand cut each bar, so some bars are a little bit wider or thinker than another bar. I sell my soap by weight. If you buy a 3-ounce bar you may receive a bar heavier than a 3-ounce bar. You won’t receive a lighter soap. These soaps have been cured for several months so they are not going to shrink or lose weight.

Ingredients: Corn oil, water, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, lard, (micas: Caribbean blue, Fuchsia, Kermit green, & buttercup), Majestic Seas fragrance oil, poppy seeds, and White glitter.
